A few weeks ago, Vigilant sent retro distribution checks to members that participate in our Washington Workers’ Compensation Retro program. We are delighted to share that this year’s retro distribution was the largest in the history of Vigilant’s program!
Vigilant remains fiercely committed to stewarding a program that carefully balances refund maximization while also providing flexibility for members to make the right business decisions for themselves and their employees. We continue to believe that equipping members with relevant data to make informed business decisions is the right way to build a partnership, rather than mandating behavior that may not be in a company’s best interest. The retro performance results continue to validate this strategy and our refunds continue to improve significantly by the third and final adjustment.
We are privileged to work with hundreds of companies through Vigilant’s retro program, and many more through our claims management program. It’s an honor to work with these companies to care for their employees, both through accident prevention and active management of claims once an injury occurs.
